Information Technology
The B. Tech. Ed. in Information Technology (IT) is a dual-degree program run in collaboration with Kathmandu University (KU). In the first four years, students earn a B. Tech. Ed. — qualifying them to teach IT at secondary and higher-secondary levels as well as at technical vocational institutions. Upon successful completion of the B. Tech. Ed., graduates may apply for an additional +1 year to be awarded the standalone B. Tech. engineering degree, reaching a total duration of five years. This dual pathway uniquely equips graduates with both teaching credentials and an engineering degree.
